Hi, I’m Lexa Hashman, the creative mind behind Lexa Nicole Designs. As a graphic designer specializing in branding and visual identity systems, my mission is to blend creativity with advocacy—crafting compelling designs that give a voice to animal welfare and support meaningful causes. I believe in the power of visual storytelling to spark connection and inspire action, ensuring every brand I work with has a clear, consistent, and impactful identity.
I recently earned my Bachelor of Art in Graphic Communications with a minor in Web and Digital Design from the University of Maryland Global Campus. My design work is deeply influenced by animals, nature, whimsy, and fantasy, all of which inspire me to create organic, free-flowing imagery and immersive brand experiences.
I have a strong passion for logo design and identity systems, finding joy in building brands from the ground up and ensuring they remain recognizable and cohesive for years to come. My strongest skills lie in workshopping client ideas, developing cohesive color palettes, maintaining strong visual identities across multiple platforms, and desktop publishing—with expertise in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign and proficiency in Photoshop.
Beyond design, I spend my time managing a small menagerie of animals at home in the DMV, including 7 dogs (4 huskies, 2 shelties, and a lab), 3 rescue cats, and 23 chickens—a challenge that rivals even the most intricate design projects! When I’m not designing or tending to my pets, you’ll find me reading high fantasy, hiking, or kayaking, all of which inspire the organic and imaginative aesthetic that shapes my work.
